The objectives are:
1. to raise awareness of asset manager and surveyors of the business case for investment in ventilation
2. to provide an overview of a decisionmaking tree to help identification of appropriate proven ventilation products given a range of scenarios of stock type, budget available and other factors
3. to cover the things that go wrong in product choice, installation and maintenance.
4. to provide a training pack for delegates to take away and use in house.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Senior managers and budget holders of major stockholders and social housing providers
Nominated team members of housing and asset management teams who would be interested in learning more from their colleagues in other organisations about issues with managing ventilation and air quality in existing and new build stock.
SHAP is keen to see ventilation installed but is product neutral.
