INDU-ZERO is a project co-funded by the North Sea Region Programme 2014 - 2020.  The INDU-ZERO project develops a Blueprint for an innovative factory that will be able to produce 15,000 renovation packages per year for half of the current price.

The 7th October 2021 is the official end event of INDU-ZERO, a project that has  developed a Blueprint for a Smart Renovation Factory.

<h2>INDU-ZERO end event</h2>COVID update For visitors who are planning to travel to the Netherlands for the event, please take into account the <a href="https://www.government.nl/topics/coronavirus-covid-19/covid-certificat" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Dutch COVID-measures </a>for traveling to the Netherlands. At this moment we ask for the visitors to the event that they show a COVID Certificate with a negative test result, proof of full vaccination or proof of recovery. People who live in the Netherlands can present these using the CoronaCheck app. 7th of October 2021INDU-ZERO is a project co-funded by the Interreg North Sea Region (NSR) Programme. Led by the Province of Overijssel in the Netherlands,14 organizations from 6 countries bundled their knowledge to design a Blueprint for a Smart Factory that can manufacture Net Zero renovation packages for terraced houses and apartment buildings built between 1950 and 1985. Huge challengesEurope is facing huge challenges to achieve the targets of the Paris Agreement and the Green Deal. One of these challenges is to renovate 22 million existing houses in the NSR Region towards energy neutral. The current pace of renovations is too low and the costs are too high.Blueprint for a Smart FactoryINDU-ZERO is offering a solution to this problem by delivering a Blueprint for a Smart Factory that can be built after the project. The factories will be able to produce 15,000 renovation packages a year for half of the current price. The Blueprint contains necessary information about the Smart Factory and how to produce the renovation packages. A business case is also included to stimulate the market uptake. ProgramThe results of the project will be presented by the project group. During the event politicians, industry, housing corporations and investors will have a role. The event consists of an online morning program (9.15-11.30 hrs. CET) and a live/hybrid afternoon program at the Provinciehuis in Zwolle, the Netherlands (13.00-17.30 hrs. CET). Chairman of the day is the Dutch presenter, speaker and interviewer Harm Edens.The online morning program (9.15 – 11.30 hrs.
