This is an opportunity for women and birthing people to explore and gain a greater understanding of the induction of labour process, the options available and what this means for your birth preferences.
We will discuss:
- why you may be offered an induction
- what the induction process looks like
- top tips for managing an induction
- any other key questions you may have
Please be aware that we are unable to answer specific questions about individual circumstances but will do our best to provide as much information as possible to help answer general queries. Please contact your midwife if you have specific questions about your pregnancy and birth.
If you are planning to give birth with Oxford University Hospitals, we welcome you at any stage in your pregnancy to find out more . Partners and birth partners are also welcome.
For the registration we will ask for some background information from you for auditing purposes (including, hospital ID, stage of pregnancy, ethnicity, how many children you have and the first part of your postcode).
