What is the study about?

The Cyber Security Body of Knowledge (CyBOK) project aims to codify the foundational and knowledge in the expanding area of cyber security. As part of the research, we are carrying out participatory workshops with 50 security experts, from industry and academia, to discuss the knowledge areas that should be included in the Cyber Security Body of Knowledge in a collaborative and creative environment.


Who can take part?

Security experts from industry are welcome to take part in this workshop.


What will I be asked to do if I take part?

If you decide you would like to take part, you would be asked to take part in an workshop lasting up to 90 minutes. You will be asked about what you think should be or not be included in Cyber Security Body of Knowledge.


Will my data be identifiable?

Please be assured that no individual or organisation will be named in Security Body of Knowledge or reports and nothing will be linked back to participants.


What will happen to the results?

The results will be summarised and reported to CyBOK project funders. Results maybe submitted for publication in an academic or professional journal or conference.

Who has reviewed the project?

This study has been reviewed and approved by Faculty of Science and Technology Research Ethics Committee at Lancaster University.
