Event description

Description

Prospects in conjunction with Solace are delighted to sponsor and host a fringe at this year’s LGA Annual Conference, the largest local government event of the year.

The Skills agenda is rightly seen as central to industrial strategy and solving the country's productivity problem, and in driving not only economic growth but inclusive growth where the spoils are more widely shared. But can that be achieved, and how?

Confirmed speakers:

  • Councillor Judith Blake CBE, Leader and Executive Member for Economy and Culture, Leeds City Council

  • Julia Goldsworthy, Senior Policy Adviser, PWC

  • Martin Swales, Chief Executive, South Tyneside Council

  • Nick Bell, Chief Executive, Prospects Group

Chaired by: Jane Dudman, Editor of the Guardian's public leaders, housing and voluntary sector networks.

Lunch and refreshments will be available from 12.30pm.

You do not have to be a delegate at the LGA Conference to attend.
