Event description

Description

Organise Yourself with OneNote. Do you struggle to cope with and manage all the bits of useful information you have spread across 100s or even 1000s of emails, documents, sticky notes, paper notes books etc? Does it always take you ages to retrieve the piece of information you require? This is when you should consider using OneNote. OneNote is a popular digital notebook tool which allows you to capture, store and share all types of data and information, such as text, drawings, web clips, screenshots, voice memos etc. Notes can be the ideal place to keep your 'to do' lists, collate information for your documentation work, store standard texts or the large volume of information sent to you by email. Notes can be used for collaboration and brain storming sessions. OneNote interacts with other Microsoft apps, for example, notes can be linked to your Outlook meetings/events to help you manage meetings before, during and after the event. Notes can be shared, exported, emailed, tagged and searched.

This session, facilitated by Krystyna Huszcza, will be part demonstration and part workshop. The demonstration segment will provide an overview of OneNote and demonstrate numerous examples of when and how OneNote notebooks are being used by staff to assist them with their work. The workshop segment aims to get you started with creating and populating your own notebooks.
