iNetwork Info Sec 2017
Building cyber secure and resilient organisations for a digital age
In the 12 months, there have been an unprecedented number of high profile cyber attacks that hit the media – from Yahoo!, breach of Democratic National Committee and the breach of Bangladesh Bank and the hack of Lincolnshire and Goole NHS.
Information is a key organisational asset and its security is of paramount importance to reduce risk to business processes, reputational damage and loss in consumer confidence. Where this has been compromised, it has resulted in significant issues for the organisations concerned and are increasingly reported in the media.
This conference will help delegates better to respond cyber threats and defend against cyber-attacks.
Who should attend?
This event will be of interest to colleagues that have responsibility for their organisation's information security, information assurance, information risk or compliance. This may include (but not limited to) those with the following job titles: Information Security Managers, Information Risk Managers, Compliance Managers and members of the North West Warning, Advice Reporting Point.
Our events provide a forum for colleagues from local authorities, health organisations and other public sector organisations to come together to discuss information sharing, information security or cyber security issues that impact on the public sector and to provide learning opportunities, encourage innovation and efficiency savings whilst delivering improved outcomes for citizens.
Call for case studies
We are keen to promote knowledge sharing and good practice across the sector. Do you have any public sector case studies of cyber related projects that are taking place in your organisation, that you would be happy to share with other colleagues? If yes, please get in touch and let us know at email@example.com
