A discussion around the complexities of procuring and commissioning services for the public sector whilst facing significant rises in costs
About this event
The recent increase in energy prices from April 2022 has undoubtedly had a significant cost on raw materials and as such, has increased the costs of production with the impact of this being felt across the supply chain.
Coupled with Brexit, the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, Covid-19 recovery and the promotion of addressing the climate emergency, the public sector is facing increasing pressure to reduce costs whilst continuing to provide vital services. Therefore, it is vital that the sector responds to this and works collaboratively with suppliers and contractors in a concerted effort to reduce energy consumption and promote cost-effective procurement and the commissioning of services.
Join us in this roundtable discussion where we will be looking at how this has impacted contracts and practices and what can be done to mitigate these increasing costs.
Who should attend?
This event is organised by iNetwork's Connected Procurement and Commissioning (CPC) programme and would benefit Commissioners and Procurement teams who hold budgetary and contract management responsibilities.
