Description

This workshop is taking place to discuss the early findings of the research project with local authority licensing partners and explore how this research might help in improving licensing processes.

This workshop is aimed at Local Authority Public Health Practitioners (alcohol leads and those involved in alcohol licensing), local Licensing Teams, Police Licensing Officers, and other Licensing Responsible Authorities.

A draft agenda will be attached to this site soon, however, the highlights include:

  • Strengthening the Public Health contribution to licensing: feedback on the key findings

  • Workshop discussion sessions:

    • What relevance has the current research for local licensing practice?

    • How might the next phases of the research be designed to answer key local authority questions?

    • How can we co-design outputs of the study to be useful?

    • Summary and closing comments
