Summary:

In the fast-paced world of the NHS, influencing and negotiation skills are essential for driving change, managing stakeholders, and advocating for the best outcomes.  Whether you're working with senior leaders, employees, or external partners, knowing how to communicate persuasively and navigate challenging conversations can make all the difference.

Aim:

This interactive 2-hour workshop is designed to equip HR professionals with practical tools and techniques to enhance your ability to influence with confidence and negotiate effectively, even in high-pressure situations.

This session is interactive so come prepared to engage, reflect, and practice so you can walk away with real strategies to use in your role.

Objectives:

By the end of the session, participants will:

• Understand the principles of influencing even when you don’t have authority!
• Learn how to structure persuasive conversations using key negotiation techniques
• Build confidence in handling resistance and difficult conversations
• Develop strategies for gaining buy-in from senior leaders and colleagues
• Apply practical tools to strengthen your professional impact in the workplace

By the end of this session participants will be equipped with the tools to start using impactful influencing and negotiation skills immediately!

Facilitator

Iwith the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and has hundreds of hours of experience since qualifying in 2011.  She runs a coaching and consultancy business where she specialises in developing leaders to show up and lead with confidence, authenticity and impact.  Prior to running her own business she spent over twenty years as a Senior Leader in the NHS and now works with values driven organisations to retain and develop their talent.  In the coaching space she uses her skills in Neuroscience, NLP, CBT and Positive Psychology to help clients connect with authenticity and joy.
