About this event

This introductory workshop is the first in a series of visual design and media workshops. We are currently working on a Learning X (publish date TBC) in which we will go into more detail about the principles of design and media for education, including infographics and videos. Once this Learning X is published, we will hold further workshops as part of a larger series.

In this workshop we will be introducing you to the basic principles of visual design, with educational infographics as a central focus. We will cover how to make your designs clear, engaging and as accessible as possible.

You will then have the chance to evaluate some examples of infographics and discuss the design choices. There will be an optional 15 minute Q&A session at the end.

This event will be hosted on MS Teams (link to be sent at a later date).

Please note, this workshop is only available to staff and students at the University of Dundee.
