Description

Learn a new way of storytelling in this practical masterclass with graphic designer Valentina D'Efilippo.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, a good infographic is worth a thousand pages. As intuitive to create as it is to consume, data visualisation is a new visual language that is becoming increasingly popular. And the good news is that anyone with knowledge of storytelling, graphic design or data handling can learn with ease.

This in-depth, introductory course with graphic designer Valentina D'Efilippo provides an overview of the data visualisation process, and an eye-opening initiation into its potential as a storytelling medium.

You'll find out how to assemble and interpret datasets, and understand the basics of various popular visualisation techniques. You'll learn not just how to interpret a brief, but how to frame your final project for your audience to ensure the best possible outcome.

  • You work with data and wish to learn more about turning data into something visually compelling.
