The data Protection Act is Changing May 2018 - General Data Protection Regulation. (GDPR)

This workshop is provided by the Information & Knowledge Management Team and is designed to provide governors with an understanding of governors’ and schools’ statutory role around Data Protection, Freedom of Information and the proposed changes which come into force May 2018.

The session will support you in handling and managing the various aspects of legislative responsibilities that accompany all school Governors as Data Controllers in a school. In particular, this session will cover:
