Event description

Description

Are you running a community business – an organisation that directly benefits your local area? Do you want to increase your impact and sales?

We could support you through the Community Business Trade Up Programme, run by School for Social Entrepreneurs, in partnership with Power to Change. Applications are open now!

This programme helps the leaders of community businesses and community-focused social enterprises in England, with:

  • A fully-funded learning programme: 12 days spread over six months
  • A Matched Trading grant of up to £10,000
  • A community of people running organisations like yours

To help you decide if the programme is right for you we recommend attending an information session. These sessions are informal and friendly and will give you a great insight into what to expect from the School for Social Entrepreneurs.

At the information sessions you will have the opportunity to ask questions (about the programme and the application process) as well as the opportunity to meet other community business leaders in your area.

The information sessions are being held on the following dates:

  • Friday 11th January 2019, 1pm to 3pm, Platt Bridge Community Zone, 81 Ribble Road, Platt Bridge, Wigan, WN2 5EG
  • Tuesday 22nd January 2019, 1pm to 3pm, Levenshulme Inspire, The Inspire Centre, 747 Stockport Road, Manchester, M19 3AR
  • Wednesday 23rd January 2019, 1pm to 3pm, Safe Regeneration, St Mary's Complex, Waverley Street, Bootle, L20 4AP
