Description

Informed Parliaments, Engaged Citizens, Effective Government - a mid-year conference organised by IFLA Government Libraries Section.

This 2-day conference considers how libraries serving legislatures and executives can use information partnerships and outreach to improve citizen engagement and government accountability.

Sessions are designed to support the work of the IFLA Government Libraries and Libraries and Research Services for Parliaments Sections in delivering the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and in particular Goal 16: "Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels".

See more information on the conference schedule on the IFLA Government Libraries Section website.

Delegates are invited to a traditional London Pub for an evening meal on Day 1 of the conference to socialise and network. The price of the meal is £25-£30.
