Description

Inheritance Tax mitigation – Practical solutions for a growing market

We would be delighted if you could join us at this CPD qualifying interactive workshop, which we will run as a case study based session.

During the workshops we will cover key considerations and planning opportunities ahead of the imminent introduction of the Residence Nil Rate Band (RNRB). We will also examine how best to utilise Business Property Relief (BPR) investments, both capital preservation focused and AIM based, in a client’s portfolio.

Guest speaker announced

On this occasion we thought it would be good to have a view from the IFA’s perspective, and we will be joined by Dave Robinson, a name you may be familiar with. Dave is a chartered accountant and chartered and certified financial planner, you may also know him as the author of the SIFA guide to tax and trusts. He will be giving his personal view on the BPR market, where he thinks these opportunities fit in a client's portfolio, and why they are becoming increasingly mainstream where IHT planning is concerned. His talk will conclude with a few of his own case studies.

This session is aimed at all practitioners that advise on Inheritance Tax (IHT) matters and intergenerational planning, or who recognise the need to. There will also be the opportunity to book a meeting either before or after the session should you wish to talk with one of our planning experts about a particular client situation.
