We would recommend that before you come to your initial assessment session that you refresh your skills in Numeracy. The bbc.co.uk/skillswise website provides exercises which you can use for practise. It is also recommended that you allow at least 2 hours for the initial assessment process. To successfully enrol on the Fast Track it is necessary to be working comfortably at Level 2 and achieve L2 in the initial assessment.
