The Blue Sewing Club evening class in cooperation with Big Local Works at 4 Market Place, SE16 3UQ on Tuesdays evenings.
This is a continuous learning class that starts from beginners to advanced where each individuo sets up their own goals and work in their individual projects.
The course will be led by a professional Dressmaker, which will teach you the traditional sewing for making your own customised clothes. By working with patterns (not commercial),construction and fitting of a garment.
The tutor will guide you following a progressive program, starting from basics items and adding complexity to the garments through various projects.
We’re aware that everyone progresses at their own pace, so you will continue to work on your project along with others at different stages and projects of yours while the tutor gives you individual time.
Materials for the projects are not included. Available to you are the sewing equipment including Serger to give to your garment a professional finish.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?
Your first day sewing kit should contain your own sewing tools.
Pencils, eraser and sharpener, rulers (At least50- 60cm long), tape measure, pins, sellotape.1 scissors for paper and pattern paper. We can also provide paper for £1 a yard.
After the first day, you will be given a list of items and fabric you will need for the next class and project.

Make a reservation with an £8 payment of a total price of £38 p/m. The remaining £30 must be payable on the day the course starts.
Monthly payments are based on 4 Tuesdays for a month.

4 days a Month.
This course will start when they reach a minimum of 8 people and max of 12 ence the reason we asked for reservation with a minimum of 3 months commitment. *** Non attendance is not refundable.
