About this event

Inkle weaving is a traditional method of creating long, strong, useful and decorative woven bands for belts, straps, edging etc. Learn how to warp up a loom, read warping drafts, pattern charts and weave. Create woven samples on an inkle loom and a backstrap loom using a variety of decorative patterns, techniques, colours and yarn. You can then take home the bookmark size samples that you weave during the workshop.

All materials and equipment will be provided. If you have an inkle loom you are welcome to bring it with you.

This workshop is suitable for beginners.
