'Inner Gold' Training with Karen Darke

“Ability is a state of mind, not a state of body”.

Find Your Inner Gold is a 4-week course designed to nurture mental well-being and resilience for adults and young adults in the Highlands.

Through four one-hour sessions, participants will explore how to train the brain to embrace new perspectives, building mental agility, inspiration, and motivation.

As the colder months draw in and darker days take their toll, this programme offers a supportive space to quiet the inner critic and reconnect with self-worth. By shining a light on inner strengths, Find Your Inner Gold aims to inspire hope, promote resilience, and help participants discover the spark that carries them through challenging times.

It will be facilitated by Karen Darke, MBE, a Paralympic athlete and adventurer, who believes “Ability is a state of mind, not a state of body”.

The dates of the 4-week programme are as follows:

Monday 13th October
Monday 20th October
Monday 27th October
--1 week break to reflect on the previous 3 weeks--
Monday 10th November

You will be sent a Zoom link 24 hours prior to the classes beginning.

If you cannot afford to pay the full price and live in Sutherland, please contact us for information on a reduced ticket.
