Eager to shape the justice landscape in East Africa? Interested in exploring bottom-up solutions to the issues in our societies? Join us at Strathmore University on the 21st of April for the Innovating Justice Nairobi!
HiiL, a worldwide pioneer in building and scaling up innovative justice ecosystems, is hosting an Innovating Justice event at Strathmore University in Nairobi on the 21st of April 2016. This first-ever conference of its kind, in the region, will bring together key stakeholders from the worlds of academia, business, development, law and others. The central issue we’re tackling is: how can technology change the way we approach justice?
From widespread corruption and poor rights enforcement to backlogged court processes and unregulated crime, East Africans today face varied obstacles to justice. How can technology assist in making justice more accessible, efficient and effective? What are the justice needs of entrepreneurs and SMEs?
With expert panelists and renowned speakers from across the globe, we’ll delve deep into pressing issues and discover unprecedented solutions. Moreover, in preparation for our 2016 Challenges (including the second SME Empowerment Innovation Challenge), we’ll be holding closed morning workshops for entrepreneurs. The workshops will impart a variety of skills to interested innovators and entrepreneurs to help them develop their ideas to the next level. Please email ahmed.farah@hiil.org if you want to join the workshops. Kindly provide him with a paragraph on yourself and one on why you would like to be part of the workshops.
