Event description

Description

Join Luke Bell, Head of IT and Systems Transformation at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT), to hear how the Trust is utilising robotic process automation (RPA) to reduce document processing time by 75% and also merge 6 million patient records into a single instance EPR.

Following the success of our RPA events throughout 2019, we are starting 2020 with an interactive event showcase, hosted by Luke Bell, at locations across the UK. Join Luke in either Leeds, Manchester or London for one of his exclusive, half-day workshops, where he will be sharing the latest in RPA developments at the award-nominated Trust.

As a result of the merger of two local Trusts, MPFT is now the second-largest community and mental health Trust in the country. It selected RPA to merge the existing patient records from the two Trusts and clear an additional backlog of 22,000 physical patient records for the health records team. The automation saved the team 2-3 minutes per record, reducing clinical risk from outdated data.

In addition to the MPFT showcase, the workshop will also deliver practical advice about the capabilities of RPA and an insight into how the open architecture of SX extends the possibilities into intelligent automation.

Greetings from Luke Bell, Head of IT & Transformation at MPFT

The workshop will provide an example of how robotics has reduced back-office administration, improved data quality and produced error-free digitalised health records at MPFT. It also features a live process demonstration and an insight into the future of automation, to help you in understanding the options available to your trust. To top it off, as a delegate you will also be able to take away a series of guides and resources to help you with your RPA journey.
