Event description

Description

"As AI and other advanced technologies permeate the workplace, skills such as critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving gain in importance. Leading companies are recognizing that these technologies are most effective when they complement humans, not replace them." *

In this innovation taster session, Dr Rob Sheffield facilitates the group through a series of creative problem solving tools.

You will work in a group, learning how to explore and redefine problems; to generate many, varied and original ideas; and to select, sift and sort many possible ideas, into a shortlist of intriguing, interesting solutions.

You will also learn rules and tips for developing the divergent and convergent thinking skills which are the heartbeat of creative problem solving. Creative problem solving is a learnable skill, and becoming a key contributor to performance and employee engagement in the workplace.
