Innovation Champions: Barriers to Adoption

The NHS is a complex market for innovators to access. Building a strong case which demonstrates the effectiveness, safety and usability of a product is key for innovators who are hoping to have their products adopted by the NHS. Hosted by Medipex and the Yorkshire & Humber AHSN as part of the Innovation Champions Network, this session offers an introduction to some of the common barriers to market and how to overcome these.

The session will cover:

• Common barriers to the adoption of innovation in the NHS

• Tips for addressing barriers

• The importance of a strong value proposition

This session is free to staff from NHS organisations who are members of the Yorkshire & Humber AHSN and/or Medipex.

As this course forms part of a programme of work with NHS staff, we regret that this course is not open to commercial innovators.
