Event Details

This is your opportunity to find out more on how your business can benefit from Horizon 2020 funding, with a focus on the SME Instrument and Innovfin.

The SME Instrument provides grants from €50,000 to €2.5 million to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) that have ground-breaking new ideas that have been demonstrated to work. It seeks companies with plans to access international markets, whether their product is based on research, technology or service innovation.

Welsh organisations have already secured €83 million through the Horizon 2020 programme and organisations in the North West of England have won over €230 million.

The event is free to attend and delegates can expect valuable insight into the topics, tips on achieving success and information the support available to develop your applications.

This event is organised in the framework of the European Week of Regions and Cities.

The UK government has committed to underwrite the funding for all successful bids made by UK participants for Horizon 2020 projects that are submitted before EU exit.

Directions:  Upon entering the site via the main college entrance turn left, the road bears sharp right – follow it round and turn right into the rear parking area. The entrance doors to the building are dead ahead and the registration area for the event is immediately inside.

A bus stop is situated outside the main college campus on the B5129 with up to 5 buses an hour between Flint and Chester at peak times. Flint and Shotton are the closest rail stations. Shotton train station is 2 miles away to the east and is 10 minutes from Chester by rail, with links to the UK rail network.

Mae’n chwilio am gwmnïau sydd â chynlluniau i gael mynediad i farchnatodd rhyngwladol, heb wahaniaethau rhwng cynnyrch sydd wedi ei seilio ar ymchwil, technoleg neu arloesi mewn gwasanaethau.

Mae sefydliadau Cymreig wedi ennill €83 miliwn drwy raglen Horizon 2020 ac mae sefydliadau yng Ngogledd-orllewin Lloegr wedi ennill dros €230 miliwn.

Mae’r digwyddiad yn rhad ac am ddim ac mae mynychwyr yn gallu disgwyl cipolwg gwerthfawr i’r pynciau, awgrymiadau ar sut i lwyddo a gwybodaeth ar y gefnogaeth sydd ar gael i ddatblygu eich ceisiadau.
