Hosted by King's Innovation Catalyst, this one hour webinar will explore the external innovation funding and academic engagement opportunities available through partnerships with global pharmaceutical company, Servier.

Emmanuel NONY, Ph.D., Director R&D External Innovation Europe, Servier Institute of Therapeutic Innovation.

The webinar is intended to be interactive, and will cover the following:

  • Overview of Servier’s R&D priority areas
  • Servier’s perspectives of the ‘challenges & solutions’ for optimal academic R&D collaboration,
  • Outline of the aspects Servier considers when undertaking academic research collaborations and the various models for collaboration,
  • Examples (on a non-confidential basis) of successful academic collaborations,

Oncology

  • Precision Medicine (clear patient selection strategy in indications of high unmet need)
  • Neuro-oncology (glioma / GBM)
  • Gastrointestinal tumors e.g., colorectal, pancreatic, gastric cancers
  • Haem-onc (The acute leukemias (AML / MDS, ALL)
