About this event

Charity & Causes • Healthcare

Sponsored by the London Housing Foundation, this conference will consider the implications and opportunities presented by the NHS 10-year plan for the inclusion health sector.

The conference will be a chance for London nurses, midwives, Health Visitors, allied professionals and other frontline workers working with people experiencing homelessness, to get together to learn, share best practice, celebrate innovation in our work, and network with our colleagues.

Note: This will be a smaller conference than usual without break-out sessions. There will however be a packed agenda, an interactive Focus Group session, and our usual poster competition, and ‘Ab Fab’ awards.

Our inspiring speakers will include:

  • Karen Bonner, MBE, Chief Nurse for London
  • Jane Cook, Health and Social Care Lead, Groundswell; Queen’s Nurse
  • Liz Keat, Integration Lead, Homeless and Health Inclusion, Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust; Queen’s Nurse
  • Lisa Gavin, Clinical Service Manager, Gypsy, Roma Traveller & Inclusion Health, Child and Family Health, Surrey; Queen’s Nurse.
  • Mark Pedder, Inclusive Health Palliative CNS, Keech Hospice Care

as well key representatives currently engaged in delivering inclusion health services around London.

The event will be chaired by Dr Crystal Oldman, CBE, the incoming Chair of the LNNM.
