Description

Bradford Teaching NHS Hospitals Foundation Trust in collaboration with Airedale NHS Foundation Trust are holding a conference to recognise and celebrate the inspirational work involved in practice-based learning. The theme of the conference is ‘Innovation in Supporting Learning in Practice’.

This interdisciplinary one day conference is aimed at all pre-registration nurses, midwives and AHP’s, mentors/educators and all those interested in supporting practice-based education. There will be a range of inspirational speakers, examples of best practice and an award ceremony to recognise those students, mentors/educators and placement areas who have demonstrated exceptional examples of practice-based learning. The confirmed programme will be available shortly and will feature the latest research and evidence based practice in teaching and assessment for pre-registration healthcare education.

Public transport

Bus stops can be found opposite the main entrance to Bradford Royal Infirmary on Duckworth Lane. Buses travel to and from Bradford Interchange in the city centre, which is also well served by National Express. For times of the next bus, please text the stop number (45022381 for buses going into Bradford, 45022382 for buses travelling towards Allerton) to 63876. Car Parking

Visitors should use the pay-and-display areas provided at the hospital site, or at the rear of the hospital off Smith Lane. Please bring loose change for the ticket machine. If you are a blue badge holder, you may park for free in the disabled or pay-and-display areas if your badge is clearly displayed. Please be aware that parking is limited on the hospital site therefore we would advise you to consider public transport where possible.
