Following the launch of our groundbreaking UK Climate Resilience Roadmap (CRR), this webinar will highlight a number of innovative solutions available to help built environment practitioners working on climate resilienceto make progress on the recommended CRR actions towards increasing climate resilience.
During summer 2022 water restrictions and hose pipe bans affected around 20 million people in the UK. By 2050, 1 in 4 homes in the UK could be at risk of flooding, and on average flooding costs the UK £1.3bn annually. This highlights the urgency of addressing flooding and drought in our built environment, as they are only going to become more critical due to climate change.
Many innovation solutions and approaches are being developed to address this challenge, whether that be digital tools, physical products or technologies or approaches. This webinar will shine a spotlight onto some of these solutions, whilst providing attendees with the opportunities to ask questions and spark a discussion.
