Innovation Workshop: Corporate Volunteering with Volume48
Tue 4 April 2017, 14:30 – 17:30 BST
We are delighted to announce that we have teamed up with the wonderful people at The Corporate Fundraising Network, to host the first in a series of innovation workshops.
This workshop is aimed at corporate fundraisers, or individuals at charities who have corporate supporters, and want to look at how they can work together in other ways. The aims are to look at new ways of interacting with partners, and looking at mutually beneficial relationships rather than all give, or all take.
Our first session will be held on Tuesday 4th April, 14:00 – 17:30 will be focusing on corporate volunteering. - Tickets are available here
We regularly work with charities and businesses looking at how working together, we can do more. One off team volunteering is so hard for the majority of charities to achieve, so how can we as a sector, look at alternatives which meet mutual goals. Below is an outline of what the afternoon will encompass:
Innovation Workshop: Corporate Volunteering
Welcome from Holly Christie – Founder of ‘The Corporate Fundraising Network’
Introduction to Volume 48 and an outline of the day
How to innovate: How do we refresh and change the way we see corporate fundraising. What are the processes? Using live examples and how to benefit best from working together.
The corporate volunteering paradox: What do businesses really want? Is volunteering sustainable and what is the future? How can something be both beneficial and a problem at the same time
Corporate volunteering Ideas and problem-solving panel: Finally – Bring your problems! You can send your questions in advance, and we’ll take live problems too, with our panel of corporate fundraisers, and a room filled with other charity professionals we should be able to get to the bottom of your issues!
Networking begins - After the event, the normal Corporate Fundraising Network will be taking place, so you’ll be able to follow on from the workshop with networking and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere.
Due to the personalised approach of this workshop, places are limited so to join, sign up now
Special thanks to the Corporate Fundraising Network for supporting the event
