BGAJ logoIn September 2014, the British agricultural industry has an opportunity you won’t want to miss.

It’s an opportunity to demonstrate why our small island, filled with genius and creativity, has always led agricultural innovation.  It’s an opportunity to show how British agriculture - brimming with enthusiasm, knowledge and foresight - continues to be a powerhouse for new practices and a hub for fresh thinking.   It’s an opportunity to show how we’re taking seriously our responsibilities for safe food, sustainably produced.

It’s an opportunity for British farming to show all this to the world, when 200 of the world’s top farming journalists visit Britain in September 2014, for the IFAJ World Congress.

Organiser

British Guild of Agricultural Journalists

Founded in 1944, the British Guild of Agricultural Journalists is a national, independent membership organisation. Our 500 members keep British farmers informed and the public engaged.

We’re a focal point for information and a forum for knowledge. We get involved and engaged with debates about food, agriculture and the environment. Read a farming magazine, pick up a national newspaper, or listen to a regional radio station: the chances are you’ll read or hear the words of a Guild member.
