Innovative Corporate Fundraising
It’s time to change corporate fundraising and make it an equal playing field. This interactive half day workshop focuses on how small charities can attract and work with corporates of all sizes, with a focus on new innovative income generating ideas.
This workshop will cover:
- How to attract and work with corporates.
- New and exciting ways to engage and grow a partnership.
- How your charity can benefit from a business partnership.
- How to make 'corporate volunteering' work for your charity.
- Understanding corporate partners and their needs.
This workshop is interaction and will involve group work, problem solving and examples of small charity successes.
As founders of Volume48, Tom and Stephanie have a wealth of experience and knowledge working across both the charitable and corporate sectors:
Trainer Bio: Tom Downie
Tom has been working in the charity sector for the last ten years, and has been involved in all aspects including fundraising, volunteering and corporate giving. Having worked in the corporate sector managing business charity relationships, as well as in the charity sector helping businesses for fill their fundraising event needs, Tom has seen corporate fundraising from every angle. His valuable knowledge has led him to found Volume 48, where he helps businesses and charities find new, equal ways to work together. Tom also volunteers his time as a chairman of a charity.
Trainer Bio: Stephanie Isaacson
With eight years experience of working in the charity sector under her belt, Stephanie knows how to raise funds from a whole range of events. Stephanie has arranged a plethora of corporate events, including international treks and cycles, UK runs, annual galas and award nights. Seeing the opportunity to find new events for corporates in charity’s existing services led her to found Volume 48, and start innovating corporate volunteering.
Lunch is kindly being provided by Frazer Jones before the workshop starts, so please arrive at 12:30 for a 13:00 kick off.

Cancellations and Refunds:
If you cancel your place 2 full working days before the event takes place then you are entitled to a full refund by request. Refunds for cancellations after this point are given at the discretion of Small Charities Coalition.
If you cannot make a workshop please advise us as soon as possible. Workshops normally have a waitlist and if you notify us early enough then there's a good chance another charity can attend in your place.
