Event lasts 3 hours

Come along to our monthly HIKE CLUB starting and finishing from our store in Bakewell. The hikes are lead by Kate Allen, a qualified Mountain Leader, and will take you into the wonderful areas surrounding Bakewell. A great opportunity to meet new people and see some lovely places.

The hikes are all approximately 5-6 miles / 2-3 hours and at an easy social pace. Why not stay afterwards and enjoy a cup of coffee in our instore cafe.

All participants of our Hike Club will also be able to make use of 15% off in store purchases.

Our hikes have a limited capacity so please do book a free 'ticket' if you would like to come along.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I park?

There is a carpark on Coombes Road, called Bakewell Bridge carpark. This is where we usually recommend.

What's the terrain like?

The routes will be varied so we recommend bringing hiking footwear that you are comfortable in and will be suitable for mixed underfoot conditions.

Will I be able to keep up?

Absolutely! Hike club is for everyone, so as long as you are able to walk for 5-6 miles / 2-3 hours (with photo breaks), no one will be left behind.

Do I need to bring anything?

We generally recommend bringing a bag with you for some wet weather gear (just in case), snacks, and a bottle of water, plus anything else you need.

Can my furry friend come?

Yes! Kate's dog Mac will be at the Hike Club most months so other (friendly) dogs are definitely welcome.
