Inputting and extracting usable data from BIM
Event Information
Description
Our Autumn event in October looks to focus on data usage within BIM models – focusing on COBie, SFG20 and utilising BIM to drive efficiency in operation.
For this event, we have Evolve Consultancy covering the basics of COBie – what is it? … Or perhaps; what isn’t it?! We then also have a COBie project casestudy presented by Hoare Lea, following the learning curve experience on a real project, and what it took to learn how to implement and deliver COBie (using Revit to deliver COBie via IFC).
To ensure it’s not all COBie overload, we also have a presentation by One Creative Environments showing how it is possible to drive PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) schedules directly from BIM using SFG20 codes – once you see how easy this process is, and what you can get out for minimal effort inputting, we challenge anyone not to want to implement this on their next project!
