INSET Briefing - Addressing Sexual Violence and Abuse
The Rape and Sexual Violence Project (RSVP) specialist training team would like to invite you to attend their online INSET Briefing - Addressing Sexual Violence and Abuse.
This two-hour twilight course provides teachers with the opportunity to:
- Examine ‘continuum’ of sexual violence and abuse
- Understand the prevalence of sexual violence and abuse
- Examine myths surrounding sexual violence and abuse
- Discuss the personal and social impact on survivors of sexual violence and abuse
- Examine the wider impact of sexual violence and abuse
- Reflect on policy and practice within their own school setting to responding to disclosures
- Explore strategies for schools to address this within relationships and sex education
Delegates receive a certificate of attendance, a digital information pack and policy/lesson suggestions.
