Description

This session is for teachers and other adults working in Schools regardless of musical and/or teaching experience.

This practical session will include:

- Quick fixes: Why won’t it work?! What to do next?

- How to get a good sound out of common instruments eg. Violin, cello, flute, clarinet, sax, trumpet, trombone, ukulele, guitar etc

- Learning the first 5 notes

- Supporting students to make progress

- Suitable for teachers working with students from 4-18 yrs!

Newham Music teachers will share their tips and experience. If you’ve ever played or never played an instrument you will leave this session with ideas and greater confidence in how to support your students.

We are able to offer this session at no cost to people working in Newham Schools thanks to funding from Arts Council England. There is a small cost for other adults.
