IT’S COMPLICATED
Like in relationships, much of what is interesting about life resists definition. These shorts use film form to articulate unclear communication, evocatively portraying emotion, subtext, and bittersweet misunderstandings through a range of unusual relations. Sometimes the best things are impossible to categorise, but in their beauty, doubt, and flux, these films capture unsayable but enduring affinities.

BRAIN PICKERS
These films will mess with your head, in more ways than one! From important accounts of the reality of war ?to innovative representations of the mind and brain, and films that explore what happens when the mind disappoints. Whilst some explore mental states positively and constructively, and show the brain working through fancies and associations, others meet this theme far more literally!
