Inside the Box 24Hr Charity Gameathon
Sat, 19 Nov 2016, 12:00 – Sun, 20 Nov 2016, 12:00 GMT
A 24-Hour Gameathon at ITB's HQ in London in aid of Mind, the mental health charity.
We'll be gaming with the all time greats, from Ticket to Ride, to Pandemic to D&D to Scythe. (And Monopoly if you really must).
We'll provide an extensive game library as well as unlimited food and drink to last you through the night! There will also be a charity auction, a game design competition, nerd movies all night, bring and buy, RPG sessions, and more!
(Yes there will be outrageous amounts of pizza and energy drinks, if you leave hungry we'll be surprised.)
All proceeds from the event will be going directly to Mind. Check out their great work here: http://www.mind.org.uk/
How to find us:
Nearest London Undeground station - Aldgate East
Walkable from: Aldgate, Whitechapel, Shoreditch High St.
(Overground, District, Circle, Hammersmith & City lines)
Train into London:
Paddington, Waterloo, Kings Cross, Euston, Charing Cross and many other major National Rail stations are easily accessible by London Underground or London buses.
Coach into London:
Coaches into London Victoria come from all corners of the country, Victoria is a short Tube journey from Aldgate East, which is a 1-2 min walk from the HQ
We don't recommend driving to us as the parking is horrendous, but if you really need to, then there are several private car parks within a 2 minute walk of the HQ which are around £24 for 24 hours. We would recommend parking on the outskirts of the city and getting the tube/bus.
Unfortunately access to the HQ is limited due to a few steps. There are four steps down and sour steps up from the lift (which is fully accessible from street level).
We're happy to cater to any dietary requirements you might have. Let us know when you purchase your ticket.
You must be at least 18 years old to attend this event.
