Welcome to the InsideOut Wellbeing Series, a series of mental fitness events aimed at shining the light on different mental health topics.

About this event

Join one of our top Transformational Life Coaches, Carole Douillot, for a second session on the body and mind connection in mental health.

In this part 2 session, Carole will provide a short recap of our first session (which can be viewed here), discuss the reasons for disconnect between the body and mind, take a look at the role of our emotions in the body/mind connection, and run through some somatic experiencing exercises too. Don't worry if you didn't attend the first part, anyone can participate in this session and will take something of value away from it.

There will be a Q&A at the end where you can ask Carole any related questions you might have. After this session, Carole will provide an updated resource pack for all attendees.

SESSION DETAILS:

  • Topic: The body & mind connection in mental health - Part 2
  • Date/Time: Thursday 20th January 2022, 12pm - 1pm GMT
  • Location: Zoom
  • What to expect: 30-45 minute interview with InsideOut's Transformational Life Coach Carole Douillot, followed by a 15 minute Q&A.
  • About Carole: After years of teaching French and being a Student Progress Coach for three years, Carole's passion for psychology and young people led her to become a life and career coach. Carole has worked with students, business owners, academia individuals, and managers from diverse age groups, professions, and cultures. She has a Master's degree in Business Management and is a certified Transformational Life Coach, Youth Coach, Group Coach, Positive Psychology Coach, and Existential Coach. As a qualified body-oriented coach, Carole integrates this experiential approach to her coaching to help clients focus on their body in order to create longer-lasting changes.
