Pitt v Holt, Futter v Futter and the Trusts (Jersey) Law Art 47.
What do they all amount to?
In an informal and we hope refreshing new format, over tea and light refreshments, Christopher Scholefield will use the hour between 4:00 and 5:00 pm to put this rapidly evolving area of the law into context, to explain how Jersey law and the Royal Court have addressed it and to explore the political considerations that are said to lie just beneath its surface.
The aim is for professional fiduciaries to confirm what options are open to them and to establish how best to encourage the Royal Court to deploy the remedies now available.
Tea and cakes will be provided.
Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
