Event description

Description

Enabling your pre-teens to transition into their teenage years with self-awareness and tools means equipping them with skills to navigate through this time. Teen years are complicated and sometimes confusing times. Today, there is, even more, to think about with active social media life and a fast & competitive world.

How can we help our kids feel confident and make smart choices?

How can we assist them to fit in without compromising who they are? Can we help them communicate, including asking for what they need? Take for example peer pressure. If a child is feeling uncertain about who they are, they will be more susceptible to the pressure from other kids. But if they are coached on trusting their instincts and their self-worth, they will be stronger and smarter.

The two days include individual and group activities, entertaining games, great music and dancing, and practical tools to take them through their lives.

The knowledge your children will receive through this experiential and transformational format will stay with them for a long time. We will cover subjects such as making and keeping friends, standing up for yourself, dealing with wild emotions, peer pressure, self-confidence and much more.

Additionally, we engage the parents/guardians at the start and end of the Seminar to learn key insights from which the whole family can benefit. The seminar offers your child the opportunity to learn and grow in an inspiring, safe, and educational environment.

Note that this seminar is for 10 – 13-year-old children only.

In a fun and engaging format, Insight Kids Seminar will support pre-teens in making good choices, dealing with peer pressure, and creating a great support network as they approach the challenging teen years. The goal of the seminar is to equip the children with knowledge and skills that will help them prepare for the challenging teenage years by reviewing such areas as:

  • Making and keeping friends

  • Feeling good about themselves

  • Learning how to deal with wild emotions

  • Standing up for themselves

  • Giving back through community service

  • Communicating from a safe and loving space

  • Learning to stay true to themselves and deal with peer pressure

  • Creating better relationships with friends, teachers, and parents

  • Building self-confidence by tapping into who they truly are

Your child (children) will make new friends, will be more open about sharing what they are going through and feel more confident.

From a parent whose child participated in Kids Insight: “I am blown away by how much they learned about the heart, themselves, others, how to live and love in integrity. I saw a dramatic shift in my 13-year-old after this training.”

Prerequisites: age 10 – 13 years old.

Parent/guardian consent is required to participate
