Description

Dunkeld Cathedral is an ancient place, and was once a Pictish monastery before the cathedral was built. The construction of Dunkeld Cathedral took about 250 years, from the mid-1200s to the late 1400s. Today, the site remains in ecclesiastical use.

On this Insight Tour join our District Architect to hear about the Cathedral’s past and current conservation works. Climb the scaffolding to see the masonry replacement works up close and learn more about how we have been adapting to climate change at Dunkeld Cathedral.

Please note: spaces are limited to 15 people. This event is suitable for ages 16+.

Booking essential. Please be aware bookings will close on Tuesday 1st October 2019 at 11:59 pm.

Equipment and accessibility: Due to the nature of this event, participants will be provided with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the form of a hard hat, high visability vest, and steel toe cap boots. Please inform us of your shoe size when booking a ticket for this event.
