Inspire Breakfasts - Escape The City; Presents the 21st Century Career; how...
Thu 4 February 2016, 08:15 – 10:00 GMT
Escape The City does things a bit differently. They believe that life is too short to do work that doesn't matter. Unfulfilled and ambitious, the Escape Founders wanted to escape their corporate jobs back in 2010 and after looking for a service to help them find genuinely exciting new opportunities, and discovering one didn't exist, they built their own.
At Escape, we have been building the bridge between the old world of work and the new, helping our global community of like-minded, ambitious professionals to embrace the challenge of building a self-directed, or 21st Century career.
Key takeaways will include:
- How are businesses and the world of work evolving and what does this mean for me?
- What is a 21st Century Career?
- Case studies and #smallsteps that will help you discover your purpose and passion.
- Putting all of this into action
Escape The City runs education programmes (called Tribes) designed to help people lead self-directed careers, either through 'escaping' the corporate rat race or by starting their own business, all with the support of a community of people who want to achieve the same goals. Join us in rejecting boring work and starting along a path that is truly representative of the century we live in
Breakfast will be available from 8:15am, please arrive promptly for an 8:30am start.

Skye Robertson is paving the way for Escape’s global expansion strategy, whilst working to become the leading authority on the 21st Century Career. She previously ran StartUp Britain and worked with the Centre for Entrepreneurs on entrepreneurial policy and partnership development.
Escaped from more than 8 years in International Relations and Peace-building, Sophie brings her power of facilitating group dynamics and individual coaching to designing an epic Tribe experience fuelled by immense care and thoughtfulness
