In this very special lecture we'll be joined by speakers from publisher and consultancy Contagious, as well as Syl Saller (Chief Marketing and Innovation officer, Diageo) and Shilen Patel (Co-Founder, Independents United).
Contagious looks back at some of the key shifts in consumer culture, innovations in technology and social platforms as well as leading advertising work from the past year and digs into what this means for marketing in the year ahead.
Syl Saller and Shilen Patel
Syl Saller and Shilen Patel discuss how marketing needs a new approach to fuel innovation. Specifically, they will discuss how they have collaborated to develop a number of innovative partnerships for Diageo such as creating Distill Ventures (the world’s first accelerators for startup spirits brands), successfully deploying a breakthrough content model for drinks called Supercall and creating a revolutionary framework for "The Future of Marketing” that has now been deployed across Diageo to great success. They will share lessons they have learned from the front line of developing win-win partnerships to drive innovation.
