Inspired by Turner - A Day of Exploration with Watercolour
Overview
Inspired by Turner – A day of exploration with watercolour with artist Amanda Beck
William Turner was known as the painter of light. In this workshop we will take inspiration from Turner’s colour palette and techniques to experiment and enjoy creating expressive paintings in watercolour. Turner said ‘The Sun is God’. This workshop focuses on the radiant sun, the subtle changes of light and the vibrant (as well as calming colours it creates) particularly at sunrise and sunset. Inspired by Turner’s time in Venice we will create a beautiful Venetian scene using some core watercolour techniques.
