Inspiring Futures (Business & Enterprise Celebration)
Event Information
About this event
Join ABA and its partners for a celebration of entrepreneurship from 6:30pm, Tuesday 26th April 2022, in Sheffield - the birthplace of ABA and new digital industries. The stage will be set at the forefront of The Mowbray, Kelham Island, an area rich in industrial and engineering heritage. ABA will host entrepreneurs from Pearson College London and The University of Sheffield whilst guests are served a three course meal and drinks, all sourced locally!
The best bit? The winning student pitch will land the entrepreneur a cash prize, delivered by ABA and event sponsors, plus professional mentoring and partnership support. The opportunities do not solely lye with the students however - we've devised Inspiring Futures to be a business and networking opportunity for all with its own unique twist. This means ALL guests are entitled to FREE food and drink provision accompanied with various networking segments and entertainment.
Previously hosted in Dubai, UAE, ABA brings Inspiring Futures home to Sheffield, a decade after its founding, with a selection of four business students from The University of Sheffield and Pearson College London.
With virtual introductions from entrepreneurship royalty such as Levi Roots, and guest panellists including housing activist Kwajo Tweneboa, the event is set to inspire the next generation of business leaders and create a buzz surrounding enterprise once again.
Entry is completely FREE!
About Adam Bradford Agency
Adam Bradford Agency and its founder, Adam Bradford, can trace their professional roots entirely to Sheffield thanks to the city’s historical commitment to entrepreneurship and eventing. During the late 2000’s and early 2010’s, Sheffield was a hub for profit and not-for-profit organisations, academies, charities and educational bodies to invest their time and effort into igniting entrepreneurial potential. The BIG Challenge and Peter Jones Enterprise Academy both played a significant role in shaping Adam’s early development and future career. Local courses and events such as these encapsulated Adam and inspired him to found his entrepreneurial feet, leading to a decade-old portfolio consisting of a successful social CSR brand and professional agency business. Adam has since gone on to win awards, one notably being a Young Leaders Award from the Queen, and supported hundreds of young people to success within business and entrepreneurship.
