Come along and discover all the ways that we can use the outdoors to enhance literacy learning. The day will look at how to maximise your outdoor space to help your children develop their literacy skills and support the work done in class. The morning will be spent exploring our own creativity using some classic texts, including nursery rhymes, fairy tales and classic children’s novels. In the afternoon we will look at how to pull in literacy to create cross curricular topic activities in the outside space at your school.

This course takes place outdoors for the majority of the day, please dress in outdoor clothing and bring warm layers, waterproofs and both indoor and outdoor footwear.
