Welcome to the booking page for the first Inspiring People Event of 2018.


Continuing the success of BAM Nuttalls previous events this latest in the 'Inspiring People' series will feature inspiring people sharing their personal stories and guidence on the topics of resilience, confidence and leadership. There will also be a light buffet served and an opportunity for networking during the event.

Confirmed speakers include:

Nicholas McCormick, Business Development Director, BAM Nuttall


Nick McCormick is Business Development Director for BAM Nuttall Limited, based at their head office in Camberley. He lives with his wife and two sons in Giffnock near Glasgow. A graduate in Applied Geology from the University of Strathclyde in 1989, he spent three consecutive summers working with Balfour Beatty before realising his future lay in civil engineering. His career started on a graduate training programme with John Laing before he focused on marketing and business development working with RJ McLeod, Balfour Beatty and joining BAM in 2000. He has held a variety of positions with BAM concentrating on business development and work acquisition. He took up his current position is March 2017 and has overall responsibility for business development strategy to deliver new opportunities for the company's eight operating divisions.

Eve Mallon, Project Manager, Faithful & Gould


Eve Mallon is a Project Manager for Faithful+Gould, based at their Glasgow office. Eve graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2012 with a BSC Hons in Quantity Surveying. Her career started as a summer placement student with Faithful+Gould in 2010 as part of her 3rd year at Glasgow Caledonian University studying Quantity Surveying. She graduated in 2012 and an opportunity presented itself within the Project Management team in Faithful+Gould and she has never looked back. Eve was involved in the complex, competitive dialogue procurement process for the Programme Delivery Partner for the University of Glasgow’s new world changing campus development on the former Western Infirmary Site. In July 2017, she took on the role as Chair for RICS Matrics Glasgow & The West, a group which aims to look after the interests of members entering into the profession of surveying and those up to around 10 years post Chartered qualification. Eve also won Project Manager of the Year at the UK RICS Matrics Young Surveyor of the Year Awards in London in November 2017, an accolade which she is extremely proud of at such an early stage in her career.

Sionadh Kellington, Head of HR, Celtic Football Club

Sionadh Kellington is the Head of HR for Celtic Football Club. She graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2007 with a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and a PgD in Human Resource Management. Sionadh’s interest in HR was ignited following a year long placement with Nacco Materials Handling Ltd completed as part of her Undergraduate degree, she returned to this organisation upon graduation where she fulfilled the role of HR Assistant for the first year of her career. From there She move on to work with Manpower as a HR Consultant working on the organisations IBM account. This role involved providing support to a multilingual workforce and cemented Sionadh’s interest in the field, providing her with a generalist overview of the HR function. Following three years with Manpower she moved to an Advisory role with Celtic Football Club, providing support throughout the business in managing people across a variety of different fields, from Media and Sponsorship to Playing and Medical colleagues. She was soon promoted to Snr HR Business Partner where she worked closely with business managers to ensure effective delivery of Club objectives, introducingprojects focussing on Employee Engagement and Leadership Development. Most recently Sionadh has been promoted to Head of HR for Celtic and is responsible for the design, implementation and review of all of Celtics people policies. The role touches every aspect of the football club and isintegral to the running of a highly successful sports organisation.
