Day One - Opening Plenary
Helena Sharpstone

Be the Fundraiser Everyone Wants on their Team

Helena will be kicking off our conference with an energetic and motivating session concentrating on the four main things you need to know to be the fundraiser everyone wants on their team. This is the stuff you need to have up your sleeve to excel your career and be the best asset that your organisation can have. Follow her advice and you’ll be so good they will never, ever want to let you go!

Helena is an acclaimed international speaker and can often be found at IoF and fundraising conferences across the world. We’ve been trying to entice her to Yorkshire for a few years now, so we’re pleased as punch that she’ll be opening our 2019 conference!

Day One - Closing Plenary
Rob Woods
Peak Moments for Donors – three techniques to help you raise more money

To close our first day, we have some brand new ideas from award winning trainer and author Rob Woods, who will be sharing three techniques to help make your fundraising more creative, inspiring and refreshing. And crucially, he’ll share lots of examples to help you believe that working this way is massively worth making time for.

If you’ve not seen Rob speak before, you’re in for a treat! His lively, energetic and engaging session will leave you with a banquet of food for thought which will leave you buzzing with ideas.
