Integrated Neighbourhood Teams – what, where and how to get involved

Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INT) are professionals from health, the council, the voluntary and community sector that work within a specific geographic area to provide coordinated and preventative care, to address the needs of the population and improve health and wellbeing.

Join us for this introductory online session into the Integrated Neighbourhood Teams on Tuesday 9th September 2025 (10am – 11am), where you will have the opportunity to speak directly to members of the Intergrated Neighbourhood team.

What are the key objectives of the event?

  • Raise awareness of the integrated neighbourhood teams being created in Bucks
  • An opportunity for attendees to ask questions/ discussion
  • Share how the VCSE can get involved
  • Collaborate on how to develop them together

What will you take away from the event?

Understanding of how integrated neighbourhood teams are being developed in Buckinghamshire, where they are and how they can get involved.

Who will speak at the event?

Bobby Pozzoni-Child - Director of Partnership and Transformation – GPPA and Director for Integrated Care - Buckinghamshire Place.

Bobby is a strategic and collaborative leader in primary care, with a strong background in both operational delivery and system transformation. She has held senior roles across GP Federations and Primary Care Networks, leading service development, at-scale working, and stakeholder engagement across London and Buckinghamshire. Bobby also brings private sector leadership experience in Talent Planning and Succession, underpinned by CIPD accreditation.

As Director for Integrated Care in Buckinghamshire and her continuing role within the GP Provider Alliance (GPPA), Bobby plays a pivotal role in aligning system-wide priorities with those of General Practices providers. She leads the development of neighbourhood health, partnerships at place, and population and inequalities work. With oversight of key workstreams, she convenes providers, and acts as a key link between General Practice and system partners to enable joined-up, place-based care.

Gemma Thomas - Director of Strategy - Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and Director for Integrated Care – Buckinghamshire Place.

Gemma is a collaborative and strategic healthcare leader with over a decade of experience in health system transformation, commissioning, and strategic delivery across acute, community, primary care and system-wide settings. As Director for Integrated Care for the Buckinghamshire Place Based Partnership and Director of Strategy for Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, Gemma leads the development of partnerships at place, neighbourhood health, population health initiatives, and health inequalities programmes. Previously, Gemma has held senior leadership roles across Integrated Care Boards, Clinical Commissioning Groups and NHS Trusts, driving major transformation programmes, commissioning innovation and driving integration. Gemma brings expertise in collaborative leadership, service redesign, and population health.

This event is open to anyone (paid or unpaid) involved with charities, community groups, or social enterprises that deliver services in Buckinghamshire.
